TRISH SIERER

Trish Sierer is a visual artist based on Hawai‘i Island whose work celebrates transformation—of materials, ideas, and perspective.

Raised in the creative hub of Austin, Texas, Trish grew up surrounded by art. Summers with her grandparents were filled with hands-on making—ceramics, painting, drawing, leatherwork, and woodburning—that nurtured a lifelong love for creativity. After a long career in high-tech, she followed her heart to Hawai‘i to live as a full-time artist.

Her signature style blends the tactile and the digital. Many of her pieces are hand-painted on an iPad, using layers and brushes to capture the textures and colors of island life. She also creates large-scale abstract works made from repurposed materials—transforming discarded books, paper, and packaging into ocean-inspired artworks.
