ARNOLD FLORES

Arnold was born and raised in the Philippines from a family of 12 siblings ( 10 sisters and 2 brothers. Since childhood, there was already an innate drive to delve into art. His keen eye was able to visualize and capture the artistic value of whatever he was surrounded by.

After immigrating to the United States, Arnold began his Navy career. He was able to utilize his artistic talent during his time in the military working for high ranking naval officers such as Captains, Commodores and Admirals. During his time in the Navy also allowed him the opportunity to experience the world around him; visiting countries such as Italy, France, England, Wales, Netherlands, and Scotland ( where he was particularly enthralled by the landscape).

Arnold’s multilingual abilities in English, Spanish, and several Filipino languages have led him to explore a variety of mediums throughout his career. He is able to effortlessly transition between photography, sculpture, painting and woodcarving.

After retirement and finally a Navy veteran of 20 years, Arnold decided to focus on his passion full-time. His career is as diverse as his talents and skills. Arnold has garnered multiple award-winning images from Islands Magazine, and has been a contributing photographer to top calendar and publishing companies in Hawai’i for almost 3 decades. Other photography endeavors include weddings, model’s portfolio, engagements, family portraits, fashion/lifestyle, and fitness.
