CYAN GARMA

Cyan Garma is a painter, illustrator, and muralist from Waipahu, Hawai’i.

He recently moved back home after living and working in Los Angeles, California.

He spent most of his early life experimenting with mixed media and was inspired by street artists and muralists at a young age.

After moving to California, Cyan attended Azusa Pacific University and majored in Studio Art. During this time, he was exposed to different artists, mentors, and approaches to making art.

Though he originally intended to focus on illustration and design in college, Cyan discovered his love for acrylic paint and this has been his primary medium for the past five years.

Cyan is currently working as a freelance artist and pursuing a BFA in painting at the University of Hawaii.
